Hi Don. This song and "Love, Me" are my 2 favorite Collin Raye songs. His voice just reaches your inner self and begs you to listen with all your heart. Thanks for the request and reaction!

This is a fave of mine, another great song from the '90s. I think Collin may have been a little underrated, although (imho) this was a particularly strong period for country music. There's a really good video for this song too, pretty much a story vid that amplifies the lyrics. I was truly delighted to hear the song again, hadn't seen this performance (excellent), and I love the Country Roads Show. Thanks Shayla for the great request and thanks Don for another wonderful reaction!

Colin was very big in the 90s. I would suggest his song, Love Me. It's a very touching song.

Incredible vocalist-in the 90’s nobody was bigger! He made a conscious effort to sing songs that would only have a positive impact.!

Another one I haven’t heard in a while. Sometimes we put ourselves in bad situations and then we have to work at getting back on track.

Absolutely check out more Colin Raye. Little Red Rodeo by him is awesome.

Collin's brother was a guitar player in Miranda Lambert's band; sadly passed away not too long ago. RIP Scotty and condolences to Collin and family.

Collin Raye is in my top 5 and I’ve seen him in concert twice. Once in Anchorage, Alaska in 1994 just as I was really getting into Country and again in 2019 in Arlington, Texas. I loved both concerts and what sucks is that we don’t have concert ticket stubs anymore as momentos. I still have my one from 1994 in my collection. I wish we still had those. Collin Raye’s music was the soundtrack of my 20s and his music is timeless. My favorites from this 90s Country crooner are Little Rock; That Was a River; If I Were You; Not That Different; Love Remains; In This Life; Man of My Word; Love, Me; Somebody Else’s Moon; Every Second; What the Heart Wants; I Volunteer; Heart Full of Rain; One Boy, One Girl; Angel of No Mercy; I Think About You; I Love Being Wrong; On the Verge; The Gift; Little Red Rodeo; That’s My Story; Someone You Used To Know; and She's With Me.

I have a great Little Rock song for you! Lee Ann Womack's "A Little Past Little Rock". As a lyricist you'll be intrigued by the turns of phrases and also her voice!

Hi Don, always love these 'Country Roads' videos. Seeing all the legends in the audience is so cool! Since you done a few Nashville artist lately it maybe time for an Anti-Nashville song. May I suggest either Creed Fisher's " It Damn Sure Ain't Merle " or Jason Eady "A.M. Country Heaven ". Thanks Sharla for the request and Don for your reaction/rating. A Good Day to All!!!!---#UTRCM

Collin is great! I've actually seen him twice in concert. You should definitely check out some of his other work. Little Rock was about a recovering alcoholic, and back in the day actually prompted thousands to phone Al Anon, as they posted the number at the end of the music video.
