Samsung Galaxy S10 vs S9 comparison

Samsung has just unveiled the brand-new Galaxy S10 range, and Henry got an early look at the new phones. He brought along last year's Galaxy S9 to highlight what's changed and whether the S10 is a worthy upgrade from the S9.

let me explain why huge RAM is needed for smartphone ... samsung had the ability to connect with DEX make it phone turn into a PC environment, doing multiple task with DEX is useful with that RAM

Kind of sad that my s9+ is already a year old.. but I don't see any reason to upgrade really and the s9 line up are still very nice phones tbh I'm still obsessed with my s9 plus but that's probably only because I upgraded from a s5 lol.

Do not be fooled. There are no big improvements that can justify the change from s9plus to s 10 plus

I think the S10 is great and all, but I do prefer the S9. The good thing is that the S10 will drive the prices of the S9 down so I can actually afford it. (I’m an iPhone 6 scrub and I really want a better phone)

I prefer the finger scanner in the back. It's very fast and accurate

The only thing I miss from the s9 was the ability to bring down the settings with the rear finger print scanner from anywhere. It was insanely useful.

They've finally made the regular S model premium by mirroring the plus features as far as cameras and RAM. 👏

I don't get why everyone mentions this in the camera app that the "options are in the bottom, " when in reality it's actually worse, all those options like picture, video etc. which used to be at the top and have been pushed to the bottom can be changed by swiping anywhere, whereas those pushed to the top like settings, aspect ratio etc. need to be tapped on. This is the worst example to show one-handed use in one ui, I wonder how did they let this pass into the final version, not to mention all the other bad design changes in the camera app.

its a shame they have removed the notification light

The small strip area above the hole is virtually a waste. Why not just but the whole to the edge, so that the area affected by the hole is minimised. I cannot help but think that, Samsung didn't do that only to avoid being called "a notch".

Anybody else not give a crap about the screen to body ratio? Most users just end up putting a case on the device, so you really never see the beauty of the screens other than when you first open the box
