“Parallels” with Worf dimensional shifting was great. Seeing Riker going nuts because “the Borg are everywhere” still has me shook.

I love it when the writers actually remember what the characters have gone through, and make sure the characters remember too. Not many shows do that, they just brush off stuff like it never happened. Kudos to these writers. Writing is such an unappreciated art form these days.

An episode that I don't think gets enough love is the one following Best of Both Worlds, Family. We see Picard acting all stoic in front of his crew, his friends and finally his family. But by the end we see him in tears in his brothers arms crying, sobbing that he couldn't stop them. He tried to stop the Borg using his knowledge but he wasn't strong enough. That, to me, has always been a gut punch and what makes Picard such a perfect characters. Such a shame what they did to him in the Picard series :(

The fact that Picard plays the flute through the seasons is still so powerful to me! Every moment I see it, I think of that episode.

Schisms was always one of my favourite episodes, always found it to be the scariest episode by far. The idea of being abducted by an unknown entity, being experimented on and then returned whilst having no memory of the event is terrifying.

"THERE! ARE! FOUR! LIGHTS!" will always be one of the most iconic moments of this show for me. Speaks so much to the nature of torture and how it impacts the mind.

It's crazy to me how well written this series was. Some of the episodes were insanely deep.

One episode that I haven't seen mentioned.
Measure of a man- my favorite. Data gets put on trial trying to determine if he has rights as an individual or is he just a machine and will he be taken back to earth to be disassembled so they can study and make more of him. This episode is the benchmark to this day in science fiction for exploring AI/synthetic lifeforms and their legal status as individuals. Great episode

My favourite TNG episode is "The most toys" Seeing Data being pushed to the point of believing that he had a moral duty to take a life, and then when being rescued before committing the act gives the impression that he is also quite capable and comfortable lying directly to a superior officer about the discharging of the weapon during transport. It has always stuck with me more than Data's final visit to the holding cells.

Yesterday's Enterprise was always a favourite of mine. It's a brilliant "what if..." and what a fantastic way to bring back a former cast member.

I liked Deja Q, when Q is made mortal by the continuum for all the mischief he caused. The crew doesn't believe it, so much so that when he asked what he could do to prove it, Worf simply said, "die." At the end, his gratitude is so great he gifts Data with a burst of laughter.

My favorite episode of TNG is Darmok. I love language in all forms and the idea of a language that is fully created from the stories and oral history of a culture. We always talk about the language of film or storytelling, but we never consider if someone could only communicate through that language.

I’ve been watching you for a decade Jeremy, and I’ve never been as happy you did a video as I am now.

That moment at the end of Tapestry when Picard speculates at owing Q a sincere debt of gratitude is fantastic, after how often the two battled each other. Picard had a moment there where-in he realized he judged Q a bit prematurely. Love it.

The episode with his brother and "uncle" right after Best of Both Worlds is incredible. It also helps set up some First Contact feels before he goes full Ahab.

I love how the whole world talks about movie news and Jeremy just does his own thing. That’s why he my guy

TNG is my favorite show ever, and in the last few months I've been re-watching with my 12 yr old daughter. We watch one episode a night, just after dinner. She came into it cold, had no idea what to expect, and is absolutely loving it. We're halfway through season 6, and are going straight to DS9 and then Voyager afterwards.

I made my son's watch episode "The Game" where everyone is hooked on this game and spends all their down time playing and how it consumes everyone's life entirely, Ashley Judd is the bonus. But 20 years ago TNG predicts how electronics and peer pressure affect everyone.

Oh, part 2, please by all means. You have such a fun way of describing the episodes, I’d love to hear more.

“Family, ” the episode following the Season 4 premiere was also high-tier TV. A big portion of the episode is simply dedicated to Picard and how he is dealing with his encounter with the Borg emotionally and it is absolutely heart wrenching
