Played this for the first time like 3 years ago on my GBA, it took me a little too long to figure out you had to suck up the stars in the King Dedede battle lol. I thought they were just like an impact effect, not a tangible object!

You should try that second playthrough with the cheat code it tells you after beating the game if you haven't already. It'll give you a slightly harder playthrough. I love that old games would sometimes do that.

I played this one for the first time last month and it was great! It definitely holds up compared to other GB games and I recommend any Kirb fan to play it if they haven’t. It also has Extra mode once you beat it which is hard mode for players that want more challenge

One of the later Gameboy releases, this game takes advantage of every trick in the book for programming on the hardware, kinda like the NES Kirby game. Be sure to check that one out too.
