You know, the image they show everyone of wormholes has one interesting feature: it’s folded in on itself. So, we don’t just need a bunch of gravity to punch through space time, but also some way to “overlap” those sections of space. Adds an extra hitch that might be getting in the way of creating a physical wormhole.

Another problem with a wormhole is that anyone going through It would literally skip the time it would take to actually just travel to the place the wormhole leads to.

So, for example, if a wormhole led to a galaxy 100 million light years away, going through the wormhole, would make you skip 100 million years. So, by the time you travel to the other side of the wormhole, it would feel like seconds to you, but 100 million years would’ve passed here on earth. Because there is no absolute way to travel through time in the way people think.
