These had the highest quality interiors- plush leather and wood, nice gauges. Quiet and smooth, yet torquey. l'd love one as a commuter / daily.

I have a 2006 Lexus ES330 with just over 205, 000 miles finished in Blue Onyx Pearl on cashmere interior (yacht spec). Many don't appreciate how much luxury this car really has (heated/ventilated seats, HID headlights, rear sunshade, rain-sensing wipers on mine) and dismiss it as a boring car. Some people value comfort and not track/ 0-60 times, and let me tell you - the ride is churning-butter smooth!

It’s a fantastic car. I have an 05’ ES330 that we picked up five years ago with 131K miles for $5K from the second owner. All dealership maintained since purchased. I have put 30K miles on it and have had to do some work to replace parts, front struts and strut bearings, steering rack and pressure lines, valley plate reseal, and to make it completely bulletproof, I’ve replaced all coolant hoses, thermostat, water pump, timing belt, front seals, valve cover gaskets, lower control arms, tie rod ends, and made sure the transmission got a full service by dropping the pan, change the screen and fluid. Is a very solid engine and trans that will easily hit 300K miles or more with general maintenance. Tint the windows, put a nice touchscreen head unit and enjoy it for a long time to come!

I picked up a 2006 ES 330 a couple months ago. Much like you, I've been slowly making improvements. Cool little car and runs great. I don't see a ton of YouTube content on them. Mine was quite good in the snow and ice recently.

I bought mine early last at 192 mileage from South Korea, and I'm riding it in my country Nigeria, very smooth ride, a lot of people admire mine because it clean and sound. Cost of maintenance isn't high.

You got an amazing deal for all that luxury Marty! Hope the ES330 treats you well. I have been binge watching alot of your Lexus content again especially with the IS350 since I just brought a 2008 IS350 with lower mileage 2 weeks ago after regrettably selling my 2010 Lexus IS350 to a someone in the family. I had it for 2 years and tastefully modified a lot thanks to your videos. I am doing the same with my now 2008 Blue Onyx Pearl IS350 this time plan to keep for as long as possible but modify OEM plus. Glad to see your doing Lexus content again your videos have inspired me to do things in good taste as well thank you 😄

The rear windows, if not used, will tend to be stuck and wont go up or down. Before you bring it to a mechanic, try holding the down button and slam the door hard a few times. That usually fix the problem. This is due to rain, dust and soap for car washes getting caked somewhere inside the door panel

I have exact same car same year with 225k miles still running like a top! Excellent vehicle with just basic maintenance needed. Do keep in mind flex pipe is a common issue to fail for these.

Just came from Sofyan's channel and watched his review of the Vibe! Loving the "new to you" 2004 ES 330! Can't wait to see what you do with it!

That’s an awesome car, especially in that black cherry color!

My aunt had 2 of these cars, one right after the other. She got a new car ever year or two.

My experience was that this car is absolutely one of the finest cars in the world. New or used.

New to your videos. Are you planning on making a video of you checking/replacing the timing belt? Will you do it with the engine in the car? In our automotive class 10+ years ago we only messed with timing belts with engines out of the car on engine stands.

I just bought a one owner 2004 ES330 w/169K for my 16yr old daughter. It is buttery smooth but it is very basic for a Lexus. I was a bit surprised that there is only one 12v outlet (the cig lighter). Our 2005 Infinity FX35 has 4 or 5 and I never even thought to look at that. I love that the steering column is NOT power adjust. Just the manual up/down. It seems like a very safe car for her to be driving... lets hope she doesn't notice the power outlet thing 🤣

3 years ago this month i bought a 1 owner 2002 ES300 with then 161k miles for $4, 495, serviced thru 110k miles at a Lexus dealership. They had its original timing belt/water pump replaced at 87k miles along with the valve cover gasket. Black on black with California walnut trim interior. The dealer replaced the muffler when i bought it. Within the first 12-18 months i had to replace many 20 year old OEM parts, starter, alternator, exhaust flex pipe, AC compressor (was working but had a slight squeal), replaced all 4 struts since the back ones started leaking oil. Also, one of the ignition coils needed replacing at about 170k miles, so i decided to replace all 6 with new Denso units and denso plugs. Last fall the front brake calipers started to freeze up, had them replaced. Within the first few months i installed a double din Alpine touch screen with Apple car play and a hardwired back-up camera. Car is one of the best cars ive ever owned. Besides the LS430's the 4th gen ES's (02-06) are the best quality Lexus's ever built. There is one on YT posted about 4 years ago with then 596k highway miles ! Mine now has 181k miles and it will last many more years. I use 93 Octane and get 30-31 mpg on straight highway. I'll be getting the timing belt/water pump replaced next year. Getting close to retirement in about 3-4 years and I'll be keeping this beauty well into retirement. I do have more $ into it then what i paid, but its still worth every penny. I replaced all the important OEM parts and i change the synthetic oil myself every 5k miles. it burns about 1/2 quart between oil changes so the engine is performing great. All in im super happy and dont regret anything about this car purchase. Every button/switch on the car still works, rides like new with new struts. Its solid like a tank and quiet like a vault.

I got a 05 es330 and it runs super smoooth. Only thing is the timing belt is a belt not a chain. But overall super easy to work on

The Canadian TV show Canada’s Worst Driver actually used an ES - a fourth-gen XV30 like this one - for the water tank challenge in Season 14 back in 2018. It looked like it might have been a 2001-2003 pre-facelift model under all that foam.
