millie had something to prove when she was repeatedly saying "from mike" like I could feel her pain through the screen she's such an amazing actor

I don’t know how people can say Millie isn’t a good actress. Every emotional scene with Eleven just tore my heart apart. I wanted to hug her whenever she cried, it came so natural and genuine. She portrays the unbridled emotion and frustration of a girl still grasping social norms so realistically.

Man, poor eleven went through waaaay to much torment this season, all of her scenes were so sad. Shes suffering from the loss of hopper, and got bullied a ton when all she wanted was to be a normal girl and have friends. She got arrested in her most emotionally vulnerable time, and then had to to through even more torment to get her powers back and got her head shaved again. I know it was necessary for her to go through the last two things to get her powers back, and she did technically agree to it, but you still feel bad for her, she obviously didnt want to be treated like a lab rat again. Not to mention the military and vecna are both after her.

Everyone saying Mike loves Will should remember that Mike has been ghosting Will for almost a year now, neglecting him and being rude/insensitive to him. Yes, the two have a lot of chemistry, but I don't think "love" is the case.

He does love her!!! He just doesn’t know how much it meant to her that he says it out loud! And tbh how would he? His parent don’t even say it, I don’t think he knows how much that word means so instead he expresses himself through actions and saying other things like “you the most incredible person in the world” or when he reassured her in the car the he would help get her out. I could go on and on about this forever!

is it just me or does the way the talk in this scene sound so relaxing like it’s so crisp and clear idk it’s like when asmr people whisper but it’s not whispering

It's interesting that he's not able to say it, I wonder if he's got conflicting feelings or if it's really just that it makes him flustered to say? Bc with his talk with Will, the conversation was "sometimes it's hard to be honest with people you care about, especially if they might not like what you have to say", but Mike KNOWS that El wants him to say "I love you". Or the word love at all. So is it that he's actually afraid of?

I know a lot of times the word "love" is just big and hard to say but usually that's anxiety bc the other person hasn't yet said it yet. And Mike has said he loves El before, but it was more heat of the moment. Maybe it's something to do with not having seen her for so long and having the feelings fade away because of that. Idk. I'm really puzzling over it because if it's JUST him being flustered, it's a really strange conflict to have.
