Certification ? which authority or security body certifies you ? Certificate of completion is not a certification. Come on, this is just a proprietary course. Stop misleading your viewers.

Just want to know, all the people who have youtube review of this course, has affiliate link code to his site. Are you getting paid for the referrals? Im interested in the course, but need the disclosure if there is any payment incentive for the positive reviews?

I think honestly the course is interesting but it is extremely expensive for not being a certification. Besides, you are making a promotional video from an affiliate program that is paid advertising, it detracts from the credibility of your review.
I would like to find a single video on YouTube about this course that has not been sponsored by Unixguy.

I have purchased with AUD $700 clearly overpriced. Even the content is very basic. But the content creator created some stepping and road map which is good. But again from money perspective very high.

Nice review! One thing you didn't mention though (unless I missed it) was regarding the price and if you believe this certification is worth the price. This certification is brand new, and me personally, if I plan on paying $500 USD for a certification, then I would want to make sure it is reputable in the cyber-space before enrolling and paying. I understand it's brand new and I agree that Abed is really well-known in the cyber-space as a content creator, but recruiters might not know that.

There is no exam for this course, and you are paying that much money for a certificate of completion at the end of the day.

Is that reasonable? Not sure...But, that's just my opinion!

Well said and well done video. I’m actually signing up for the course this weekend as I’m looking to get into GRC in the finance sector. Seems like everyone is just worrying about certifications and not the fact that you actually get to do a hands-on project and learn for someone who’s been doing this for a very long time. I know six people personally that have the security plus and are having a hard time finding a job. Certification are not a guarantee to find work these days.

This class costs about $350 too much. The UnixGuy is preying on career changers and cybersecurity newbies. While content may be good, it simply is too expensive. There is alternative training out there that costs much less. Do your homework folks!
