As time goes on things change. From someone a few decades older than you....although I think you realize it, you are just experiencing life. I'm not yet done, but I can look back at my life so far and enjoy a lot of good memories of the many adventures I have gone on, and all the people I have met. I know you will do the same. You are very good at telling your own story through videography, and if you continue, I will keep watching. I especially like your ability to capture and edit drone footage, but it is your channel, and you should run it the way you feel is best. Good wishes for the future and thanks for the update.

Good to see you back. Sad to see the van go but glad you have found your happy place. Best of luck to you, your GF and pup. Can’t wait to see what you do with the Tacoma.

Well done. It’s great that you’ve had these experiences and open to expanding your horizons in your youth. Regardless of how your life goes, you’ve become stronger and more resilient. This will certainly benefit you in the future and (most of all) create unforgettable memories that you’ll be able to share with friends and family. Keep doing what you feel is right for you in your life.

If you need a lot of social life then right van life would not be for you. Now if you are a very
solitary person and are your own best friend not prone to depression etc. and you love
over the road travel then van life is an option that would be a better fit. I am 74 and am
looking forward to enjoying more over the road time.

Hi and thanks for the honest video. Would you consider making a video which would compare your overall camping and driving experience differences between the CR-V, Syncro and Tacoma? I'm a Syncro guy but I will surely stay, I love your stories!

Happy to know you're growing 🫶 been following since the CR-V, will continue to take notes from the Tacoma (for my friend's build), and am looking forward to anything else coming down the pipeline! 😎
I've found I also like a "happy medium" approach with a home base plus a travel rig or two. Stability and also freedom.

Noormally I'd say good choice but it's a classic vehicle! If you kept it nice it would be worth more down the road

Long story short- it wasn't for you. Glad you were able to have the experience and figure it out.

I just found your channel and I like what I've seen so far in your videos, so I hope this doesn't come off as rude. But from your list of drawbacks to van life, it almost sounds like you were caught off-guard by the inevitable challenges. Things like "where do I find a place to sleep" or "where do I shower today" could all be avoided with more planning and maybe a better designed rig. Perhaps your van wasn't built-out enough to fit your specific needs? Would you feel the same way if you had a $200, 000 fifth-wheel with 4 bedrooms, full-size refrigerator, and a dedicated laundry room? I think it's all about perspective, and I'm definitely not saying you need a $200k camper to enjoy a nomadic lifestyle, but preparedness is key and will require some initial investment in your equipment. Now that you have a truck, maybe a small travel trailer could be an option if you ever decide to go back. Cheers.
