I bought this 2018 R8 RWS many many months ago but its been quite a busy summer and I haven't filmed as many videos with it as I wanted to! It's definitely been driven, nearly more in the first 3 months than the amount miles I bought it with. Some may remember my first R8, a 2011 R8 V10 Spyder with a gated manual transmission, which looking back is a car I never should have sold! But why did I end up choosing another R8, and this time a Gen 2? There are a big list of reasons, and I am very very happy with my choice! I look forward to filming many more videos and enjoying many more miles with my RWDAUDI!

I sold my 21 evo spyder and ordered a 22 R8. I am going to twin turbo it. Evo was supercharged. These are way more comfortable and just as fast. Both reliable. Nothing wrong with the R8

Your videos are very informative and the filming is spot on. I have a Gen 1 R8 that revs to 8700 RPM. You said yours is only 8500 RPM. I can't find anything online that says Audi changed it in the Gen 2.

Was wondering why no RWS vids since you got it lol. Video came at the right time for me. Just officially started shopping. Was set on a Gen 1. Found a gated v10 spyder (14') but the price is damn near the same as ordering a brand new gen 2 22' RWD Coupe/Spyder. The gated would be nice, but having something newer, with newer tech is enticing (even though I'm sure the gated Gen 1 v10 cars will retain value like crazy.) Still torn.
