On August 29, 1987, Madonna made history by performing in front of the largest crowd ever in French history.
More than 130, 000 people attended the show.
Jacques Chirac, the Prime Minister at the time, made sure that the show would happen mostly because his daughter loved Madonna.

I was at that concert. My then boyfriend, now Husband of 33 years took me as a surprise because I missed the London show through being unwell. It was fabulous. Madonna was amazing at that time. Mesmerising to watch, the energy there was fantastic and in a beautiful setting and city too.

There was a celebrity “in the house” when I went to the Rebel Heart tour (Nashville).. no one other than Ms REBA!! Which she ended up twitting “Well we’re here, where’s Madonna?” LOL!!! She did stay for the whole show though

29 août 1987, j'avais 14 ans, le billet acheté à la fac dès le premier jour de mise en vente était à 150 francs, soit moins de 23 euro.
L'époque était bien plus calme, avec beaucoup moins d'agressivité. Même s'ils commençaient t déjà à disparaître, le respect et la bienveillance étaient encore de mise.
Madonna était jeune, encore impertinente.
Quels souvenirs précieux que cette journée et cette soirée d'été...
