How to Turn Your Course into a MOOC Using Canvas | InstructureCon 2013

In this presentation, we will provide a basic background on MOOCs and help you determine if turning your course into a MOOC is the right thing for your students. We will explain the primary MOOC models (xMOOC and cMOOC) and examine the advantages and disadvantages of each. We will also present another MOOC-like option that we recently beta tested in Canvas. Instructional design considerations and Canvas implementation strategies for these models will also be discussed.
