BULLSHIT! If we have the money to move to a desolate asteroid or terraform another planet into Earth, then we have the money to turn Earth back into Earth. We need to stop destroying it and clean it up and switch to solar/wind energy and make it a better place for ALL of humankind.

What would we do for water?

Seems like it would be something worthwhile for humans to spend their time on as a big proof of concept type project. Have someone live there for a while, see how it goes, see what life would be like, etc...
