yesss Shane, I don’t know why but I feel as if you are intrigued with the sonography industry because you talk about it in many of your videos. I can’t blame you I am too. I’m in cardiovascular sonography school now. I’m 20 graduating at 21 and will travel in two years post graduation but first on the list is building experience and connections.

I love your videos! Btw, have you ever done any on medical assistant or health information technology/management? I'm an MA though I haven't gotten to work in that field, and I'm about to be starting a HIM program. I'd love to know your thoughts on those fields 🙂

I agree with nurse degree S tier.
The demand for Nurses is always high, and they can work outside of hospitals and clinics like at schools, elderly homes, and even in community medicine

You should do a video of PT vs PTA. PT is 7 years of school and PTA is 2. PTA costs significantly less, and you start making money earlier. PTAs have less paperwork, but still get to do the fun visits with the patients. PTs often end up doing only evaluation and discharge visits, and then they do not get to see the patient for the routine visits in between or get to really know their patients.

Interesting the source you have puts the average pay for MD at 184k, lowest pay on average is Pediatrics, and they usually sit in the 200k range on average. Specialities like radiology, dermatology, specialty surgeries put you in the >400k range. In locales of need, I've heard hospitals paying over 1 million for surgical specialities. Love the vids!

Can you please film a video on communication and information (digital production and storytelling major) and Ik you’ve said before that these degrees could be useless and Ik for a fact that it would be hard for me to find a job but what if I also let’s say major in finance on the side like an online degree program and so this way I graduate with a finance degree, I try to get a job in that field and at the same time I work in my digital production and storytelling career this way it’s like a win win situation?😅god I just made things way more complicated than they should be😂 thanks though ur videos are so informative and I could tell u work so hard on them and u put so much effort. Keep it up man!

Please do a video on MPH degrees, specifically epidemiology compared to other public health concentrations

Fantastic comparison and evaluation yet again, Shane. Thank you! I wonder why physician assistant/associate gets your favorite position: master's degree, $96, 912, can't make money in field until master's degree is achieved, prescribe and diagnose under doctor's supervision vs nurse practitioner: master's degree, $121, 049 ($24, 000+ more per year), can make money in field from associate's degree onward and go to school part-time, prescribe and diagnose independent of doctor's supervision. Nurses going to community college and online to public university for bachelor's in nursing can go thru debt free and probably pay as they go thru master's program. Not the case for biology/chemistry undergrad degree and onto Master's in physician associate.

I have so many friends that went into med school. Interesting breakdown here!

Dental Hygiene is also probably the most expensive of all community college degrees (about two times as expensive as a two-year practical nurse for example). Just like dentist at the university level. I wonder why everything to do with teeth is so expensive...

Shane what do you think about a bachelor Paramedicine? Is it still worth going into as you can get in with a 3 year degree but I have read that there are too many students and not enough jobs available
