I went to a goodwill a few weeks ago and found a wedding dress. I'm only 18 and dont plan on marrying anytime soon, but I tried it on for giggles and it fit perfectly. its bit dirty but I believe fixable. 50 dollars, has a huge train, and stunning lace up back. one day I'll wear it down the aisle.

I spent 6 months thrifting in search of all the things! Found a strapless tulle Monique Lhuillier dress for the maid of honor---$14. Found a couple of ties for the groomsmen for $3.50 each. Found a two tier cathedral veil with the dreamiest tulle for $20. Found a pair of Betsey Johnson satin peep toe stiletto pumps with these killer rhinestone bows on the heels-$25. Every plate, charger, candlestick, and napkin all thrifted for under $3 a piece, and the gem of all gems, found THE ONE, the wedding dress for $80--A brand new with tags, strapless tulle gown with this insane train. Only one minor sewing repair needed. Just had no desire to waste a bunch of money trying to obtain a look and feel for the wedding I knew I could easily get through thrifting if I gave it enough time and patience.

I got my wedding dress at a charity shop. It cost me £60 in 2007.

Taking the earlier thrift with alterations, it would be just like Cinderella with all the birds flying around and helping with the bows. What a nice concept.

I actually bought my wedding dress from a second hand store. I had it completely altered and dyed it from white to “champagne” since we already had one kid when we got married lol

I liked the strapless wedding gown that was not fancy and it did not have bows or ruffles but it had an empire waist with rhinestones and pearls on it! It was very beautiful even though it was not an fancy wedding gown!

I rented my wedding gown & veil for $90 in 1987. Only three people knew it was rented. Found the exact bridesmaid dresses I had chosen so they too were rented for only $40.

I have my mother's wedding dress from 1956. It is classic and beautiful. But there are no young ladies in the family that would fit in it or want it. I want to clean it and donate it with a note. Free to a bride who needs a dress 😊
