This movie broke my heart. I read the book when I was younger. This time, they introduced a whole new tone, but nevertheless, the message is still the same. Sometimes, things don't work out. But then it leads you to what will. Life can be unexpected, but what's meant to be will be. It may not be like the past, but time waits for no one, and life goes on where ever you are. Suddenly, you find yourself living a new, beautiful life. And instead of longing for the past, you learn to appreciate the present of now, and what it has become. Bittersweet, just like how I remembered it.

trailer for this is more spoilery than id like but mad respect to the choices to have september fade in as he gets arrested, then abruptly cut out to robot whistling. so good
