Capstone project description: "Entergy Nuclear Applications Group Operations Formalization." The Applications Group members have a wide array of responsibilities that can not be mastered by any one member.

The current organization relies on each Fleet System Administrator to be the single point of contact for their site for all standardized fleet software. This has not proven to be an efficient use of resources.

Although the help desk ticket backlog has been reduced by 70% since our formation, further improvements are desired to reduce the backlog further and to reduce the average ticket age to one half of the current value. At the same time there is a growing backlog of program and report enhancements that need to be addressed. Other issues addressed include.

The applications manager schedule is burdened with too many meetings.
There is no end user training developed for fleet applications. A source code control program will be put in place.
