I give you cool facts about the City of Hialeah and walk around various areas to show you what used to be there way back in the day. Who's the founders of Hialeah? What was the first street? First theater? It's all answered in this video!

This video takes me back. I grew up in Hialeah in the 70's and 80's, in fact not far from some of the places shown here. I remember Mae & Dave's. Back 1989/1990 I worked at a place near Mae & Dave's and we would go there for lunch. The food sucked but the beer was cold. I left S Florida a couple of decades ago so seeing this was a great trip back memory lane. Thank you for this trip back!!!!

This is a good video. Hialeah is such a city in South Florida which contains a mix of opinions but its one of those cities with history and probably not at the level of Coral Gables or even Little Havana in regards to preservation but a city of facts as you mentioned

I grew up in Hialeah came here from Cuba 3 days before Thanksgiving November 1968.
Graduated Hialeah High School in 1984. If you look at the Hialeah Police uniform patch, Jack Tigertail
is on it. It is the seal of the city of Hialeah.

AWESOME.. I live with in 2 miles or less of all those locations. Thanks for the history lesson and I walk my dog by MAE & DAVES everyday and I drive by Hialeah park and the house everyday now I will never look at those locations the same.

May you carry on blessed on your day as you consider what this man has done for us, also in that he was resurrected and is alive, speaking to us a better word than ancient Abel, who was slain by his brother, and had blood that was crying out from the ground. the blood of Jesus gives us better testimony to the grace of God, because it is about our forgiveness.

May you turn from your sins in repentance (a message for the whole world, because no man is absent of sin in this life) and believe in the power of God through His Son Jesus Christ, find grace in time of need, and seek to fulfill your life's calling and purpose by his mighty power and blessing.
