Kalyani Government Engineering College (KGEC) is an elite institute for quality technical education in West Bengal. In one word HELL...the worst decision of my life so far.... mechanical department has the worst faculty and worst placement...
Even gutters are Better than the conditions of these hostel....
Excess groupism among hostellers is a major problem....only politics and politics....
Don't join this college Better give drop and try for Nits once again

The only problem with kgec is the buildings are very old. If they colour it in a fancy way it will be the best goverment college of WB.
