Every prayer I've had answered happened because of faith. It wasn't how good I was or how much knowledge I had. Both those things rely on what I can do. But faith relies on what God can do. When we love someone it pleases us to do things for them. God is love and He helps us because He wants to and it pleases Him because He loves us. He's happy to help us and our faith invites God to act in our lives. We are not a burden to Him. I love how Jesus sternly warned the formerly blind men not to tell anyone but they couldn't help themselves. He knew they were gonna do that and I can't help but imagine that he chuckled to himself about it. Just shows how loving and patient he is.
