I've been listening to this song every day for almost 2 weeks now
this acoustic version is helping me deal with what I thought was the best version of me. A few months back, I used to starve myself to keep a slim image. I remember losing 12 pounds in about 9 days and physically feeling so amazing. Mentally I was breaking. I remember dancing to the original version of this song feeling like the best version of myself. However, I remember feeling so lightheaded that I almost fainted at the party. Today is (5/30/20) and I'm glad to say that I've been changing my habits little by little. Although it hurts seeing that I've gained some weight back, I know that it is for the best. This song reminds me that sometimes the quickest ways out are never the best solutions. Sometimes you need to slow down and stop wondering what others might say about you because, at the end of the day, you will survive them.
