I was selected by Smithsonian to narrate this doc. What a pleasure and honor. First time the Queen has ever appeared on camera talking about her coronation.

When the Smithsonian Channel, out of them all, can't be bothered to fact check you know we're all doomed.
It's "Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II" not "Her Royal Highness...."
Royal Highness is reserved only to princes and princesses.

She's the vivid image of Queen Mary. Her poise, her cool, her know-how. Long live the Queen.

Why has the Smithsonian Channel version of this program be re-narrated? We do speak english too! For those that think Her Majesty doesn't have a sense of humor, did you watch the entire program?!

J think that the story told by the Queen Elisabeth II, that is connected to the Imperial State Crown and to King George VI is beautiful. God Save the Queen!!

She said things that are true for her - tho the crown is very heavy and unweildy...her uncle couldn't bear it's weight...but her father and she have the same kind of head and the crown just arraigned itself on theirs heads.
Then there are many disadvantages to crowns...but otherwise they're quite important things ..even today...they are the symbol of the self existence and pride of a monarchist nation.

If I had to pick a grandma. She definitely would be top 3. Lol

@smithsonianchannel you have her title wrong. It is in fact "Her Majesty" not "Her Royal Highness", which is the title of a princess.

I love Her. In 2020 I wished Her Merry Christmas and Happy New Year from Budapest (I am Hungarian) and Buckingham Palace answered me on behalf of Her Majesty. They made me so happy. 🙂

What do you mean reunited? She's the Queen, she's always owned that crown and can get it at any time she pleases.

What a remarkable person she is. Filling the boots of most that could not, for over 60 years. Having to constantly give up her own identity and the natural love of her close family, for the sake of the monarchy. I can't even imagine what goes through her mind. God bless you QEII
