(CLOSED - Results are up!) The Vidding Tournament - Round 2: Effects

UPDATE!! Just finished the results/round3 video, and it's taking forever rendering. So I'll have to enter it tomorrow morning! And it'll def be out then. So sorry for taking so long, but there's been so much at the same time!

This is the second round!

You'll see a little review for your video if you got through!

Effects!
Rules:
Make a video a lot of effects. Show me your way of editing with effects. Not just throw in a whole bunch of them, but have a bit of control over it. And listen to the music!
It's often easier with an upbeat song, or songs with weird sound effects that you see a special effect in! Everyone sees it their own way though.
I want to see a video with effects that flows together, and it's also smart using repetation. Still, don't lose your way of editing!

It doesn't need to be 10 different effects either, you can also use three and repeat them!

Some of you may not be the person who's used to work with a lot of effects. But just try something new! This is a challenge after all :)
And like I know I've already said, listen to the music! It really helps.
If you just hear a song, and you hear a sound in there and think "that's a zoom" and "that's a flash".

I can't wait to start working on the next vid, I'm not sure how well I'll do though.. effects has never been my forte lol.. I usually don't use many. Buuut, this will be a good opportunity to experiment and have fun with some cool effects! :D

I also am wondering the same thing as Luvtheheaven 3, what exactly are you basing your judging on?

yay!! i made it! woo hoo!! *happy dance* okay, i think i have an idea of what i want to make...i'm not a huge effects person but i'll try my best! thank you for allowing any song and fandom! that makes it a bit "easier" LOL. but yay! SO glad you liked my vid for the first round :)

Well, I entered now.. I was making another vid with some effects but I lost inspiration and I don't think I would make it until the deadline ;D So I posted one that I think it fits too :)

i didnt get to finish the original vid i intended for this contest but i did post a vidlet recently with a good usage of effects so i'm entering that instead. it's a bit short but i hope you like it :)
