DAY 2 of EPIC | Bodyweight & Dumbbell Upper Body Workout

Day 2 in the EPIC Program and let's hit the shoulders, arms, chest, back & core! This 40 minute upper body workout combines dumbbells and bodyweight exercises to hit all muscles in the upper body and core, to add strength, muscle and definition!

Presses, rows, pulses and push ups... it’s all in here! This is a workout to strengthen your upper body and to practice movements such as push up variations!

The exercises are paired into groups of 3 similar exercises and every 3rd exercise is a variation of push up usually relating to the previous 2 exercises. This is a lot of work for the upper body so stop for a moment to reset when needed.

You will need a pair of dumbbells (my dumbbells are 8kg / 17.6 lbs each for your reference) and a mat.

Please ensure you warm up for at least 5 minutes prior to beginning. (See link below for my new warm up routine)

My body could not comprehend the skullcrusher push ups. I was laying down in position just laughing cuz my body just like "oh no honey that ain't happening"

She could have used lighter weights and make the workout seem easy-breezy. Instead she chose to challenge herself as well and take breaks when needed. I find that encouraging when I'm struggling during the workout. <3

Please don’t ever stop making these, cannot thank you enough for sharing this to the world! I feel awesome after ur workouts, very challenging. After day 1 lower body day, i've realized i really love the upper body day, so refreshing 😂 ty Caroline, also i can't do normal push ups, so i do knee push ups, better than nothing

OMG! I can't believe I finished a 45min upper body workout!!
I had a 5lb dumbbell and did all the push-ups on my knees but I'm 😍😍😍

So missing Epic already and having completed all 3, I decided to start the series again, wow I have really seen how far I have come, I remember rocking a pair of 3 kg weights and having to press pause multiple times and saying I can't do this, thinking I was going to die!! now this seems like a walk in the park after Epic 2 and heat!!! Can’t move my legs from yesterday and I’m pretty sure I won’t be able to move my arms tomorrow either 😂😂😂😂😂 I wonder what part of my body will cease to function come day 3 ahahahahaha hELP

I started this program a little over a year ago and had to stop after breaking a wrist. One surgery, a screw, six months in a cast, lots of physio and health issues later, I AM BACK.

Came back to this one after 2 years. Back then I used 3 kg dumbbells and now 6 kg. I have even progressed with the pushups 🎉

Caroline i will try to explane the way I feel.I am 38.I've never love sport.I am not lazy person, I like walking, sometimes riding bicycle, but sport like every day-not.Tried so many times fitness and home workout, but was so boring!I was doing like 4-5 days and that's it.I couldn't feel it.But I lost my energy.My mind was so bored from everything.Like there is no light.And I felt I had to do something, just can't find mine.Than I found you!OMG!I can't believe! It's like I woke up and see new life!Last 2 months I am doing EPIC 1.Even when I have to rest I can't wait next day to continue!I feel alive!
