I love how this video isn't one perspective, it's from both sides because Adora thought Catra had Scorpia and Catra thought Adora had Glimmer and Bow when this was never the case because they both needed each other

This art was so cool and I just realized that in the parts where each of them are silhouetted by the other and their friends (Catra being shadowed by Adora, Bow and Glimmer, and then Adora being shadowed by Catra and Scorpia), after that scene, Catra screams and Adora cries but she's holding her stomach and I thought it kind of represented the way they deal with their emotions because of Shadow Weaver's abuse. Adora keeps everything internal, to herself, whilst Catra takes it out on the things around her. idk i thought that was cool :)

This is so underrated. OMG the colours, the expressions and the art itself is just 😭. And not gonna lie I love how much you portrayed the aggressive side of their relationship which I mean I love them being healthy and happy but them just beating each other while being angsty will never not make me wanna scream and squeal

OMG I cannot even begin to explain how much I love the exploration of the ugly side of their relationship! The depth into their jealousy over the other "moving on" or seeming to and just wanting to take it out on each other. Especially on Adora's side; I feel like a lot of people want to focus on Catra more (a little obviously so) but we forget that Adora has the same aggressive upbringing and habits that Catra does! Also, can I just say I adore this art style??? My favorite part is the transition from Catra's POV to Adora's at 0:17 !! I literally couldn't stop rewinding it! This whole video is just

I love everything about this animatic, the colors, the art style, the music, so much more! The pain that both Adora and Catra feel, Adora having dealt with Shadow Weaver’s mental abuse, leaving the Horde, and having to deal with her love for Catra as Catra herself is in pain for how Adora left, having to deal with Shadow Weaver’s physical and mental abuse as Adora left.(This could just be how I see it)It’s all so amazingly done!

OP, I love this so much. The art is amazing, and the lyrics fit so well with every scene. I really love the Adora POV stuff, because it just emphasizes how they were both toxic and unhealthy. I feel like Adora's faults that aren't just her matyr complex are brushed under the rug too quickly, and this animatic not doing that is just a breath of fresh air.
