I watched a ton of videos on go3s today, and you’re the only one explained about the freeframe mode. I thought that go3s doesn’t have this function anymore.

Really enjoyed your overview of the camera. I noticed colors seemed more vibrant on the 3S vs the 3. Were they shot on the same color profile? or was one on vivid and another on standard?

Thanks for talking about the freeframe limitations.

Unfortunately, I like that I can change the aspect ratio in post. So freeframe is what I use on my go 3. Looking at your samples, it's a hard no.

Can you retain the widest field of view if you enable horizon lock but lower the resolution to 2.7k? Or is the field of view lower with horizon lock, no matter the resolution?

The focus is way to far, for vlogging you look out of focus, the field of views is narrow now and I hope they have a flat profile because the over sharpness is crazy. It's a hard pass for me.

I bought 3S but returning it for GO 3 since 3S is a downgrade imo since I'll rather have wider view and more options for free frame mode, also longer battery life. Thanks for this video, great content!

Hi, based on your review, does the narrower field of view in go 3S occur because you shot in 4K? Would it be the same field of view if with lower resolutions, like from go 3?
