Steps:

Launch the discord app and open the server you want to edit.

Tap on the three lines button in the top left corner, then tap your server name from the top of the screen.

Select ‘settings’.

In the server settings, tap ‘channels’.

Select the channel you would like to edit.

Then tap ‘channel permissions’.

Make sure you have ‘advanced view’ selected at the top and then under roles, tap ‘everyone’.

Scroll down to the ‘text channel permissions’ heading, and disable the option for ‘send messages’ by tapping the ‘x’ to the right of it.

Disable the options for ‘send messages in threads’, ‘create public threads’, and ‘create private threads’.

Then scroll down and disable the options for ‘send text to speech messages’ and ‘send voice messages’ also.

Now anyone with the @everyone role will be prevented from adding anything to the channel, making it a read only channel.
