I was a chaser but didn't realize it because I would often play multi leg bets and hit a big one every couple weeks but in the 90s when you could play more and more tracks and sports and able to bet so easily the profits went down then the losses started. At 6:55, I think that's supposed to be 2/1 (3.0) rather than 3/1 (4.0) - 35% x 3.0 would be 105% RTP. It's probably true that books are still vaguely competitive on the headline price (the SP favourite in this case), but it's funny when the article at 7:09 mentions "it isn't because bookies are increasing their margin" because that'll be the case with every other price and market offered, those odds can be horrendously poor value. Only have to look at bet builders which deduct a quarter of the winnings by default...

I think you've misrepresented the issue with flat betting a little bit here. You've suggested your stake should be smaller if you're backing Burnley than if you're backing Man City (essentially bet higher stakes on smaller odds) when really it should be about value.

You did bring it back to mentioning value in the end, but that whole section about staking higher on shorter odds should be taken out I think. Your stakes should vary depending on the value you're getting, not the odds you're getting.

I disagree about the horse favs. I've been trying to lay the favs for years and it takes extreme amount of experience and discipline to not lose your shirt. It's much easier to win backing favs, they're usually favs for a good reason. It's simplistic to say they win just 35%, they don't when they're at evens or odds on. Laying odds on favs is ultra hard.

How about playing a martin 1-2 with the same betting system. The winnings add up and the losses you accumulate and the bets on the next 3 bets(These bets are against what your system dictates)The system must be simple it is not really decisive, only that it has a certain variance to balance both scenarios in a happy ending.

Flat betting= unit betting is a good strategy idk what u won. You have to bet the same amount on each bet 1% to 5% of your bankroll no matter odds if your saying betting the same on each bet is not profitable then that's cap it is profitable with good research too.

Flat Betting = Level Stake Betting. In over 40 years of betting, I've NEVER heard anyone call it " flat betting ".
