County Prestress & Precast’s Bridge Systems Accelerate Replacement of Aging Infrastructure

As part of the Missouri Department of Transportation’s infrastructure improvement plan, they replaced the 40-year-old Cave Springs bridge over Interstate 70. A wider bridge and a new overpass were installed, and a ten-foot-wide multi-use pedestrian connection was constructed using County Prestress and Precast’s ArchCast Precast Bridge Systems.

Prefabricated components play an essential role in accelerated bridge construction. Bridge systems like ArchCast Precast Bridge systems are manufactured in a climate-controlled facility and then delivered to the construction site ready to install.
