Honestly, using a scream instead of a stereotypical 'charge-up' noise made Ramiel so much freakier. I loved it.

Ramiel is SOOOO much scarier here than in the original show. And that's not a dig on the show, they had WAY less budget, but seeing Ramiel warp and shift in such incomprehensible ways, folding into itself and wreaking untold destruction accompanied only by the sounds of a haunting choir and nightmarish screaming, which are implied to be noises that IT ITSELF is making, it genuinely terrifies me
