This fish pulls off something incredible. Earlier he tried to catch other fish by looking like rotting flesh and staying still. However, to convincingly appear dead, one must act the part. He lays on his side on the ocean floor and pretends to be dead, and even holds his breath. This fools the other fish into thinking he is really dead, so they come closer.
