Hi Judy, Wow!! What a great amount of peppers you dehydrated. I had one small pepper plant and got about a jars worth. I need to put in more plants next year. I like to take the dehydrated peppers and put them in olive oil… It makes a great spicy olive oil. Love, Mary❤️😘❤️

Dehydrated heirloom seeds will sometimes sprout. Depends on the temperature.

Will cutting them in half length wise also dry them faster. ( the jalapeño) but the Serrano, cut just in half . I make chili powder so appearance don’t matter. What do you think ?

You can also cut the tops off and face them inward and you get the same results less prep
