In the media he’s very respectful and measured in his comments and appraisal and has been watching what all the organisations do and learning from the outside and I’m sure if given the opportunity he would surround himself with with quality people??🏈🏈🏈

If the Jets did look into the cream of the crop of GM's. To get these GM's interested. I wonder if they could get into their contract that owner ship is prohibited from meddling in gm and football operations. That the GM has full control. I highly doubt woody would concede that, as he is not witty enough to think of that . But I do wonder if there has ever been a clause to that extent to bar a meddling owner of interfering .

Andrew Luck... Same story as Barry Sanders. Retired early. Tired of getting physically pounded for teams that were exploiting them by failing to provide enough of a supporting cast. Both franchises were God awful for many years following those retirements.
