Great video Mike. I'd say do the 5 lug swap, it opens up a world of wheels.

If you're doing much work on VW/Audi cars, it's worth buying a decent set of triple square sockets. It's a pain trying to find the right size when you unexpectedly need one, and as you've already found out, you *will* need them!

I recently posted on my Facebook about your channel. Still dumbfounded how you're only at 164k followers. This is one of my favourite channels.

Be aware, the rear differential of the Coupe Quattro has a different ratio then the one from the Urquattro, so you can't mix the drive train. A good break option are the Brembo brakes from a Seat Leon Cupra 2005-2012 (Serie 2), and yes, Audi just turned a front axle 180 degree and used it as a rear one.

Those bolts on shock absorber are in the correct way because you can adjust camber more easily.

about the wheel bearing removal: Im not sure about the B4, but my C4 UrS6 (very similar suspension assembly) wheel bearings had some C-clips in front of them that were so rusted in place that I could not tell that they were there. Might be worth verifying there's no C-clip so rusted in place that it just looks like a part of the knuckle.

Woohoo, an Audi video again! Glad to see you're making progress on it and that it'll be a relatively simple swap since the subframes are the same part. Also glad to see you brought the pointer back, I've been missing it.

The hottest part of the torch is the tip of the flame, pull back from your target a little and it'll heat up quicker. Loving this build!

4x108 was common in Europe during the 80's. Ford UK was the biggest adopter of that bolt pattern. Corrina's, Capri's, Escorts, Sierras (Merkurs) and a few others all used it. New wheels can still be bought, but they are getting less common.

So glad to see an update here. Nice that Scotto had stuff laying around that you could use. Its been refreshing watching these episodes and having folks realize how interesting, unique, and fun they can be. Love it!

I love watching people work on cars who don't do this for a living as the tricks I have learnt over 30 odd years make this a lot easier.

Scott's car is so sweet. Love this build and the return of the pointer

Super stoked to see you dealing with Scotto as that almost guarantees more collabs in the (hopefully) near future. Loving the quattro project

After seeing the last Audi Hoonigan put out I’ve found a real love for these old Audi’s, I love this build dude, thanks for the content!

Just for future knowledge, the bit is a triple-square, or XZN. VW and audi love to use those, worth picking up a long-shank set from harbor freight. I still have my HF set 10 years later and they held up fine.

I'm jealous of the good condition of parts in California! Those parts would be considered light rust/ rust free out here in the Northeast! Good job on this Mike!

Love the Audi content, i drove a audi 80 b4 for many years back in the day. You got the forged controlarms, these are rare . Audi switched them for the stamped steel ones later because the forged ones were expensive.
