I'm 100% irish from a dna test AND have lived here my entire life, and I can confirm that Ireland is very beautiful. And here's a few facts:
We have our own language although due to the english colonising us we to this day speak english mainly, nobody in ireland ever says the emerald isle, we just don't despite the fact its in every video about us, the accent changes every 30 minutes of driving because of the counties, if you visit PLEASE visit rural ireland and not dublin or any other city, you are litterally just visiting any other city but the accent is different, I'd recommend Kerry especially or Cork, Clare or Kilkenny. Another tip is that if you are in ireland and not in a city, then everyone is extremely friendly and you can just talk with strangers comfortably, but try this in an urban area and its weird. And I'll say this one more time, dont go to Dublin if you are only going to Dublin please.
