Peter Weber may have chosen to pursue a relationship with Madison Prewett after breaking off an engagement to Hannah Ann Sluss on Tuesday night's finale of The Bachelor, but his mother Barbara wasn't pleased with his decision. The 28-year-old was put into an interesting position when his mom threw a few choice words at the new couple and insisted 'everyone that knows him knows that it's not going to work' between the pair.At one point during the live confrontation, Barbara begged for help in Spanish from her husband and asked him to join in on the melee against Madison. Peter and Madison were forced to defend their relationship to his parents during a tense After The Final Rose episode following the finale. The matriarch even pleaded with her husband in Spanish: 'Di algo mal también, ayúdame,' which roughly translates to, 'Say something bad, too. Help me.' She told the long-running host, Chris Harrison, that last night's episode 'didn't show everything' as to why she didn't prefer Madison in her son's life. 'I've gotten a lot of love in my DMs, but I will say, when I went for Hannah Ann, it's because she's the one who embraced me with love,' she said. 'She was just so loving towards me. I just loved her. 'The next day we met Madison. It started on a rocky road. She had us wait three hours for her to come in, she didn't want to meet us. We had just come across the world and we were exhausted. We were getting used to the time there. We had to wait three hours.'When Hannah Ann confronted Peter on the show about their failed engagement, Barbara was spotted clapping her hands in approval.Madison went on to defend her love and relationship with the pilot, much to Barbara's dismay. 'We want the best for him,' Barbara responded. 'I have to tell you, completely two different people. One was willing to compromise and the other one was not. You need both to compromise.' When Madison admitted that she understood Barbara's position as his mother, but she too was choosing love just like Peter, Barbara gave a hearty response.'Chris, he's going to have to fail to succeed,' she said. 'All his friends, all his family, everyone that knows him knows that it's not going to work.' Peter finally stepped in to speak his peace and quell anymore arguments between the people he cares about the most.'I’m telling you that I love Madison and that should be enough,' he said. 'Please. Listen to me.'
