I love how you worded it: it’s not an aesthetic, it’s a method. Thanks for helping to inspire me to shop secondhand! Today that is how I strive to shop (occasionally I can’t avoid brand new, but those instances are few and far between). I’ve found that I actually am more likely to explore ways to express myself through clothes when I shop secondhand, because pieces are so much more affordable, there’s such an interesting collection and sense of never knowing what you’re going to find, and there’s no guilt environmentally or ethically in buying, I am more likely to try things I wouldn’t have given a second glance otherwise. (Also, and this might be a me thing, but I also find I’m more likely to reach for something I bought secondhand if it isn’t new, it feels less like it’s stepped off of a showroom floor since it’s pre-owned…). I’ve had a habit of buying secondhand for cost’s sake for a few years now (have coincidentally found some of my favorite pieces that way), but still bought new sometimes without much thought. Over a few years I slowly learned about fast fashion and its detrimental effects, and last year I started intentionally going to secondhand shops to have a look…and I added more pieces to my wardrobe than I have in I think at least the three years prior combined 😂 at least 90% secondhand. Continuing those shopping habits today, and continuing to find pieces I absolutely love.

Omg, those white shoes! You ''made'' me buy one pair (pre-loved obviously :)), which is the first pair of white shoes I've ever had. And I love them!

I would love more videos like this. I get so much inspiration from your look. I would love to have a video where you show what you wear when it is raining and super cold outside. I am going to Munich, Germany in March and I really have no idea what to pack. This will be my fist time abroad.

I am so amazed how you have the ability to put together an outfit. I can not:) I just have black and grey and so all goes together. I sometimes see a combination in a video and I go "oooo I have those pieces, I can put them together" but mostly for me clothes are utalitarian. (Must be comfy and warm in winter). Also-does anyone else like exchanging clothes with friends? They hold special meaning to me, cause they remind me of that person.

The hair stuck in the chain 😂! I can relate. I don't use bags that have a chain strap because of all the struggle. But you look stunning 😊

Hi Gittemary! :) I'm not sure if this is the right place to ask, but I am trying to make my food more vegan and zero waste. I am currently vegetarian. The recipes I know or can think of either 1) are not vegan, 2) are not zero waste, 3) are either very protein-heavy or very carb-heavy without a good balance of nutrients, or 4) take a long time to prepare and cook (I am not currently a good or experienced cook). I don't know what part of the problem to tackle first. Do you have any suggestions or helpful tips for what to focus on first, and what to work on after I figure that part out? Thank you so much!! :)

I loved all of these, but especially I am in love with the orange bag from Monday (bags are my weakness) I couldn't tell what the brand was on it. I'm assuming Gurnbag (sp?) but I wanted to be sure.

Hey thank you for your videos, they are really educating and help me, as a 17 year old who is really interested in sustainability. I do have a question. I still own a lot of products that are not sustainable and my closet is still mostly old fast fashion clothes. Is it sustainable as well if I keep my old not sustainable things instead of replacing all of them with sustainable things? Because I also think that sustainability’s is when you only buy something new for example clothes if you need it. Also, is it also sustainable if I thrift fast fashion clothes or do I have to spent attention to that as well?
Would really appreciate if you could help me out on this. :)

Oddly if I wear clothes that hug my neck then I figuratively feel like I am going to choke. WEIRD! Anyhoo totally digging your vibe.

Can you write the name of the Danish artist from your favorite museum- hard to understand without speaking Danish and subtitles didn’t help!

So sad that while I'm watching this, adverts for Shein are popping up on the screen :( No thank you!
