The first one is not a crime UNLESS she had police or ambulance called. Then it would be a false report in an attempt to commit a crime. Second one due to the dash cam would be considered either fraud or attempt to take his own life. CCTV and dash cams are a must in 2024. Getting black out drunk is not an allowable excuse in USA in most areas. You are the one who chose to drink and get drunk to that point; therefore you are responsible for all your actions, weather you remember them or not. It is all about you choosing to get that drunk.

I think that man who attacked the taxi driver should have got 1 year for every minute the attack lasted. I really think the Korean justice system is very corrupt. They don't go after men who SA or worse women, film them or deep fakes but they will try to put a barely drunk man on a kickboard in jail or rake him through the media. Then this man was brutally assaulted and the man got NO time. Something is very wrong there.

Drunk driving, driving while on illegal drugs, driving on prescription drugs that are known to cause drowsiness and falling asleep are all treated on the same level in my state in USA and many others. You are driving impaired.

This was so frustrating to watch. Truly makes one feel sorry for the victims and it's really unbelievable how criminals can pretty much get away with anything with just a slap on the hand. I'd love to see some sort of law reform or something gosh just super frustrating to watch.
