Thx Prof. your - Lecturers Online - are always amazing!

Fantastic example of just moving forward with Gaussian Elimination. Instead of just stopping once you know what z is equal to.

Thank you so much sir Now I can convert system of equations into reduced row echelon form I was so confused with this method, but now I am so happy and excited for solving them .

Hi, @3:45. Could you take R2 and replace it with R3??? That way the 1's align? Is that legal?

Could someone explain why the matrix doesn’t become reduced to 2 rows when you combine them?

In video @ around 4:28 why do we have to make 1st row 2 element(-1 here) a zero ? What if we don't make it zero and just make 3rd row 2nd element zero...would it be difficult to calculate solutions?

Thank you Prof - explanations are very clear.

why do we get different solution sets when we do zeros and ones in a different order ?Do we always have to do in a special order like this?

I might have missed some key info, sorry if this is the case, but one thing puzzles me: is the sequence of the operations critical? Like here in this video: could we have taken the second column first and turn a[32] into zero before making a[21] and a[31] zeros?

This is just evidence that you learn more online than in class

it's Jordan Gaussian Elimination not Gaussian Elimination

awesome explanation one question though what if its a 2 by 3 matrix or in other words 2 equations consisting of 3 unknown or in other words not a square matrix. and thnx by the way you made it way simpler than my dumb ass teacher who made it look like rocket science.
