Honestly, I do like the implication that every single bare endoskeleton we've seen in the series was just this dude vibing in the background while William proceeded to turn half a dozen kids into Slavic sausage meat.

This is probably the BEST interation of the mimic I have ever seen... and the changing of itself is awesome too...

Okay, pretty good, but I thought that the mimic was just able to retract and expand its body parts to fit in any suit.

The ears, making a bunny head shape, have cemented the idea that rabbit/bunny based characters are the antagonists/unholy spawns of the FNaF universe (with the slight exception of the Bonnie's)

this fits so perfectly with the books as we know william used illusion discs to make nightmare animatronics they are bland endo skeletons which will suddenly turn into monsters when the illusion discs are activated

I felt surprised that the mimic had officially becomes a new fan favorite after the story that focus on it in the sixth tales from the pizzaplex book came out

it actually makes a lot of sense if shadow freddy and whatever shadow bonnie’s actual name is are just the mimic cause like people would probably say “i saw a really dark freddy” and then this thing would become what they described

My theory is that it uses something like the illusion disk that was on baby in the comics to transform, we did see it in the comics as well, using reminate as a fuel for the suit itself, older model.
