Athanas Kioko is one of Kenya's strongest 10,000 meter runners boasting personal best of 13:09 for the 5000m and 27:23 for 10,000m. I joined Athanas for one of his key training sessions leading into Sound Running's The TEN that took place last weekend.

The workout: 3mi @ Threshold, 5 x 1km @ 10km effort, 4 x 200m fast.
