This is one of the scariest videos I have seen in a while. Actually seeing the mortar shells flying through the air and the loud explosions so close by - incredible. Richard Engel is a truly courageous man.

As someone who has served in the UK forces, I can say that this is as real as it gets if, as a civvy, you're looking to find an experience of what its like to be in a war zone and be directly targeted. Still, could be worse, you could live in Liverpool

I'm in the army and have been for ten years and counting my mouth literally dropped watching those mortars come in that close meanwhile the newscaster is on the ground with a grin of amazement on his face still trying to report the news 😂😂
