Well. For me my connection is my husband since 1997. I know he still loves me but he’s self absorbed and made a bummer of a husband. We separated in 2020, because he didn’t really know but he maybe felt he needed to prove to himself he could live without my help. 2024, he resizes he can’t actually do it by himself. He missed me doing all the chores and family obligations….i wish my connection was with someone who actually cared about me and not my ability to do chores. I’m 54. Feels too late.
