After speaking to the folks at Total Chaos Fabrication, and doing a fair bit of research, I decided to purchase their new Lower Uniball Joint conversion for my 2003 Toyota Tundra. I am pretty impressed with the thought that went into the design, and the craftsmanship is top notch. In this video I go over some of the key features, and comparisons to an OEM lower ball joint.
Additional Key words:
First Gen Tundra
1st Gen Tundra
2000-20006
UBJ

Great video, thank you. Keep us updated on how your steering feels as they break in.

Thank you, just the vid I needed. You should put 1st gen tundra in the title or something similar… you will get a lot of traffic if so, I know others are searching

Whats the maintenance? Is there like any Grease to put on...does it need to be cleaned every time you go off-road? If you do daily commute...how is the maintenance?

Does your steering feel loose since you did that conversion I feel like it doesn’t stay centered and goes left or right I got new inner and outer tie rods and new uniballs on the uca new uca bushings, I have the total chaos lower ball joint conversion, on 315 70 17, 17x10 -12 offset, I’m running fatbobs vated coil overs, idk what’s going on at this point ever since that conversion steering is all messed up .
