I don't know about a remaster (vs a sequel), but I do hope it makes a return. Honestly a big hope for next generation is getting more personality that the Switch seemed to lose (Super Mario Maker 2 as a case in point).

Perfect MM3 in my eyes. Switch 3 comes with a built in stylus, Wii U/DS type sh.

Add back all the quirks from the first.

Fix the online.

Add one new style: Mario Land 2 ig idk or maybe wario land.

And the big thing. Every single item is usable in every style. Wanna use a frog suit in new super Mario bros, or use a propellor in Mario world, or use lanky Mario in Mario 3D World? Sure man go ahead. That’d be effing huge

Also remove small Mario crouching in modes that don’t have it. I don’t even like the shadows but it can stay ig.
