One thing I will say, DO NOT do this if you do not have a vent hood bc you are going to set off the smoke detector. You can’t really see it in this video, but when you cook at this high of a heat the fat from the meat and the butter essentially burns off creating smoke. This method is the best way to get a great sear on any cut of meat, but proper ventilation is necessary.

Do not add butter to ground beef- that is preposterous. Ground beef has more than enough fat content on its own.
