What about the episode when Bender plays "god". Then the "blinking lights" god says at the end, "When you do things right, people won't be sure you've done anything at all". That my friends is a brilliant freaking line that is still reported as said by Anonymous...

The depression factor is worse with Fry's dog, and not his Mom. Realistically his mom cared more about other things exept Fry. For example, when he was born, she was most happy with the news her sports team won, then her son being born. The dog looked up to Fry as a master and friend. They loved each other. It was more depressing.

Actually, Seymour didn't die of old age. In Bender's Big Score, Bender goes back in time and blows up Panucci's pizza. The blast then fossilizes Seymour.

I can't believe you didn't mention that Fry's dog didn't end up waiting for him for 12 years?
There was a time duplicate of Fry in the first movie. The duplicate went back in time, lived at home, kept the dog and worked at the pizza shop until 12 years later he realized he was Larse at went to the future?
