Hair
How to make it longer
Length:
• Stay away from bleach- use semi permanent dyes instead
• Get a diffuser
• Straighten your hair once in 6/12 months
• Get a bigger chop from damaged hair
• Regular trims 10/12 months
• Avoid tight hairstyles
• Use tangle teasers, bottom-top with wet hair
• Use products to moisture hair
Roots:
• Double wash
• Massage you hair- shower, oiling
• Oil your hair
• Eating healthy food
Daily care:
• Silk/Satin pillow case or bonnet
• Put your hair in a loose bun b4 u sleep
• Changing your parting
• Don't lay on your hair (friction causes breakage)
• Microfibre towel
• Use satin/silk scrunchies

One of the biggest things that help me maintain length is the “search and destroy” method for trims. Every month or so, I will go through the ends of my hair and cut off every split end I can find with Revlon hair scissors from Target. I haven’t gone to the salon for trims since 2021 and I don’t feel the need to. If my ends start to look uneven and thin, I’ll trim off a centimeter or 2 off the bottom but that’s rarely needed.

I’m glad you talked about how important healthy is to hair growth cos not enough people talk about this. I researched the 5+ A Day rule and it’s pretty amazing how something as simple as consuming more fruit and vegetables everyday has made such a difference in how my hair grows and my wellness in general.

I asked my mom to chop my hair shorter, it was already short. I still have some damaged ends and red hair but it looks much better and healthier. I'm afraid I will feel like cutting it again because I'm not attached to my hair and I don't think long before I cut it if I feel like it. I want it long now and I hope I stay focused on growing it. Your hair is BEAUTIFUL and AMAZING! Mine looks like yours but less voluminous. Mine tends to be thin. Hopefully its growing thicker now, I'm excited and hoping for the best. Thank you, for posting your video I was looking at many other videos but they all had different hair types and mine is 3b/3c and I figured I look for youtubers closer to my hair type and I found you. YIPEE!

These were great tips!!! I used to have tailbone length 3a/b hair, then I chopped it for no reason back in 2022 and I’ve been wanting to get back to my og length 😣 I’m gonna try these tips and see if they make a difference :]

Thank you for these tips. I've been growing my hair put for a year now, and it has been a long journey. Would love to see your routine. I know everyone's hair is different, but it would be helpful to see how you use your products.

I often hear people saying that you have to brush curly hair while it's wet with conditioner but for me personally when I brush my hair dry it is really not that hard (my hair does not get tangled so much). They say that brushing on dry hair is damaging but I really don't know if it makes a big difference with my hair. I like to brush my hair dry so I can massage easily oil into my scalp before washing my hair. Would you say that I should start to only brush on wet hair or stick to what i already do ? Your hair is so pretty btw 😍

Hello beautiful, I have curly hair and I usually wash my hair once a week, I apply leave in conditioner and oil at the ends of my hair after I get out of the shower. But I was wondering Should I brush it everyday or this will cause more damage? What type of brush should I use when it’s dry? And Do I have to use leave in conditioner every time I brush my hair or this will be too much ?
Thank you beautiful 🥰

I would LOVE some loose hairstyles examples! Something easy and cute, because even if I know that high ponytails are bad, I always end up doing it when I'm in a rush or have third day hair 😢
