BRO! I have been playing $1-2 low stakes cash games recreationally for decades as a tight nonaggressive fit or fold, always limping, never 3 or 4 betting out-of-position donation machine. I read Super system 20yrs ago and that was it for studying. I watched a few of your videos an applied your tips to my game within the last month and the rrsults have been mimd-blowing. I haven't lost a cash game session since and honestly, I have been DESTROYING these games. I play tight early starting range and a wide late & button range but mixing it up. If im in a hand im raising, 3 or even 4 betting on the button, using ranges to put players on hands, and I havent limped once into a pot. Bottom line is that i completely changed my game and image at the table with your tips and the results have been insane. EX. This last thursday I played at my local casino $1-2 and in 4hrs walked out $1700 up. My winnings each session have consistently gone up. I need to stay grounded and not get cocky. Im on a month-long heater but only play 2 or 3 times a wk and I know a cooler is on the horizon but your advice has been amazing. Between my wife, kids, and job I dont have time to really study or play all day and thats not my goal anyway. Im just happy im, not the fish at the table anymore. Thanks, Nate!

The Nit....also referred to as OMC (Old Man w/Coffee). Sometimes you just need to find the fold button.

Great content. Would love to hear your insight on this subject in small stakes tournaments ($100-$1, 000 buy in's)

Totally understand the sentiment around player types. But the example hand is a bit funky. If even you hit an ace on the flop which you're just going to fold anyway later down the line because you think you're beat, why pay him on the flop only to fold on the turn? This is just giving him chips. Surely the play is fold to the initial raise unless you have an at least AQ suited, where you might consider raising or calling? Or if you do decide to call raising on the flop to find out where you are? You might just take down the pot. Surely the expected return is higher with that play.

Lost me half way through the video when after calling preflop with AJo which is just a fold vs a button nit. we can play much better spots against anyone plus that nit hasn’t raised from the button the last ten orbits. Then we make top pair medium kicker (vs a nit) and you’re advising check call. This is already a $17-20 spew. I then read the notes and fold the turn is your answer? I’m done watching.

It shouldn’t take you until after the turn to realize your beat. Could of saved the preflop and flop calls

Honestly. In a cash game with deep stacks. I wouldve just folded here to a super nit ... Just pick a better spot.
Or does that make me a nit.... Haha

Ok but… What are the odds of losing with a pair of aces? Should I relearn poker completely?! 😂

Please tell me what's wrong with me I haven't been winning have noticed that the types of situations this number generator throws at me is really pissing me off I could be more specific about my problem really I can hold things you do or you don't do to make up my signature but I cannot play the strategies other people do so I'm stuck with my own game I think of cash games as fast so so I say to myself play aggressive and passive and have a specific tolerance to the hands you play like if sevens are hot you're not going to get a seven in your hand if the number generator is going to spit out cards in a specific pattern think you should be playing the cards that come up like if I haven't seen a king I'm not going to play King 9 yeah that's just the thing with that number generator like I say it's pissing me off why do I get 62 why do I get five four9 times out of the game why do I get a pair of threes back to back why don't you give me a ace back to back and why is it that is right at the very first three hands I get a premium hand that everybody folds because nobody has s*** to go in with and so how can I play my own game either. With this I figure put in the experience and figure out a percentage of all the different types of situations and how many times you lose to them opposed to winning do that same thing with the cards you're given and come to fact that there's really only three hands you could say that win most every time then once you have that understanding pay attention to how many people fold and after the flop how many people continuation bet what's that all looks crappy you search for this crap even more and how many times in a real game do you get beat with aces when you have Kings and really how many times do you get beat full House when you have a flush or when three people go in and all three people have three of a kind I've seen this four or five times and I don't think you'll see that in a lifetime have I spent a lifetime at poker all ready no I don't think so but that's what they say help me understand this game better anybody if you have anything that's different I may change my way of thinking please pass on your knowledge
