The Oreo update did a lot for the S8. I think it's a good buy for 2018.

I'm a late adopter. After using a note 3 for 5 years with multiple operating systems and routing I finally decided to upgrade to the S8 plus. I bought a used version that had one little scratch I bought it for $450. The phone works great I bought it through Sprint as a used item I have a 90 day warranty. I opted to Use square trade for my Phone insurance and it's been a great experience

S9 is smaller than S8+ but still, little bit faster than S8+. Camera is better in S9 and i bet S9 will be amazing with new system updates.

The bezel on the s8 is sleeker and to me it makes it look better when it comes to the infinity design. The s9's bezel is a bit sharper making it look a bit boxier and that is because the chin itself is smaller

this is why s9 sales is lower, coz the difference in looks and performance is identical that an upgrade from s8 to s9 is just a waste of money

I have an s8 plus, really amazing screen. Fast enough to me and I'm a bit demanding on that. Camera good, just good, not a big deal. Maybe the fingerprint and face recognition is not so fast but I can live with it. And battery is not so good to be honest, barely can make it a day of usage, 4hs of screen, 5 if you have a great day lol
